Assignment #1

Oded Wagenstein

I feel like this picture really shows the experiences that this man had. It almost seems like he has a great story to tell and the wrinkles on his face are the effects of his journey. I also love how he doesn't look at the camera because his actions are telling us something. He is thinking or watching something and there is something on his mind.

I stumbled on this picture and I think its amazing. It reminds me of when I was young and had fun with the little things in life. Not only do I wonder who this child is and what his adventure was that day, but he makes me think of the adventures only my imagination could come up with. This Picture makes me think of my nephews and how much I miss them!

Natalia Vodianova, By Paolo Roversi
This picture just caught my eye because she has the most beautiful eyes and she just seems to make you think. I love how she is a little disheveled looking. I love black and white photography. I don't know why, but it comes out more crisp to me. Her eyes may be blue, but they wouldn't look as nice as they do in this photo.

I live in New York City and have many homeless people that I know personally. I also met a couple of really nice homeless people. The reason I love these photos is because it makes me wonder. Do they have family out their who doesn't love them? Or do they not know about family they have? What put them on the streets? Are they mentally stable? These men see more of the hardships of life than anyone else. When we are in a nice warm house for Christmas eating until we cannot any more they are freezing cold trying to find warmth.

If you're interested in my photography, I took some photos and make a website and put them together Here!
